Zooming in on video

Assembly is a world-class media agency, providing clients across various industries with cutting-edge media planning and buying, analytics, and creative services. Established in 2014, Assembly is part of Stagwell Global, the bold challenger marketing network. With a stellar reputation for delivering results for big-name clients such as Amazon, Nickelodeon, and Vanguard, Assembly is a celebrated industry leader, winning awards for its outstanding work.
After rebranding in February 2022, Assembly needed to update their presentation materials to better engage virtual audiences. Their static slides lacked impact and didn't effectively showcase their brand identity. With virtual presentations on Zoom becoming the norm, Assembly needed a new approach to keep their audiences engaged and interested. Additionally, they needed a way to include links and calls to action that would be easy for viewers to access.
To address these challenges, I started by redesigning Assembly's onboarding deck as it was an important touchpoint for new hires. I collaborated with various teams across the business, including marketing, HR, executive/leadership, and client services, to create a scalable template that would work across all departments. I introduced dynamic video content to tell a compelling story and keep audiences engaged. I also included QR codes for viewers to easily access links and calls to action, creating a more interactive experience.
The new presentation template was a success, resulting in steady viewership during global business updates and town halls. The company received positive feedback from viewers, who appreciated the engaging and dynamic nature of the presentations. The use of QR codes provided valuable insights into viewer engagement, allowing presenters to optimize future presentations accordingly. With these changes, Assembly was able to effectively showcase their brand identity and engage virtual audiences, resulting in increased interest and engagement from viewers.
